Lower School Spotlight [2019]

October 2019

  • Get an Early Start on Excellence. Attend our Pre-K4-8 Open House on Oct. 23

Get an early start on excellence at Iona Preparatory Lower School, where your son can begin his college-preparatory journey starting from pre-kindergarten at age 4 in Westchester’s only, PK-12, all-boys program. With a more than 100-year tradition of academic excellence, Iona Prep develops young men into moral and ethical leaders who are dedicated to Christian service and who strive for spiritual, intellectual and physical excellence.
Iona Preparatory School invites students and parents to “Discover the Iona Prep Difference” this fall during a series of Open Houses and “Gael for a Day” shadow experiences. Upper School Open Houses will be held Sunday, Oct. 20, from 12-3 p.m., and Thursday, Oct. 24, from 6-8 p.m. for grades 9-12. A Lower School Open House will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 6-8 p.m. for grades PK4-8.
Iona Preparatory is also now accepting registrations for the its “Gael for a Day” student visits. This affords prospective students of all ages the opportunity to spend a day with one of our young men, truly experiencing life as a Gael. Early registration is encouraged, as "Gael for a Day" visits fill up quickly. Parents are also encouraged to schedule their own tours.

March 2019

  • Sign Up for 'Conversations with the President' March 19, 21 or 25

Coming off our Centennial year, we were able to renovate and reopen the re-imagined Devlin Library & Center for Excellence this past fall. There are already a number of ways we are utilizing the new space for the betterment of your sons, and there's still so much more we can do, across the board, for our boys and young men.
Please join President Brother Thomas Leto for one of three "conversations" over the next 10 days about our collective vision for Iona Preparatory Lower School!
