Department of Campus Ministry
Iona Preparatory offers students from grades 6-12 the opportunity to participate in a variety of different retreats, answering the call of the Edmund Rice Christian Brother Essential Elements:

"A Christian Brother education gives priority to religious formation through formal religious instruction and through opportunities for faith development and service by means of liturgies, retreats, vocation awareness, daily prayer, and other programs."

Retreats allow students to further develop their relationship with God, as well as strengthen the bonds with their Iona Prep brothers.

Currently Iona Prep offers the following retreats:

Grades 6-12- Class retreats (Dates TBA)

Students spend time with their class level peers on a day long retreat program.

RCIA (Rights of Christian Initiation of Adults) Retreat (Dates TBA)

Students who have decided to make their Sacraments and become members of the Catholic faith spend the day learning more about the Catholic faith and preparing for their Sacraments.

Kairos (Kairos XIV – October 15-18, 2019;  Kairos XV – February 17-20, 2020)

The Kairos program is the most in depth retreat program that Iona Prep offers. Kairos is only available to junior and senior students and involves a 4 day retreat which allows students to reflect on their relationship with God by examining various aspects of their own lives.
