The first step in applying is to set up an account for your son(s) on
our Parent Portal. Through
the portal, you will be able to complete an application, upload all necessary
documents, and submit requests for recommendations. Additionally,
you will be provided with the opportunity to set up a Gael-for-a-Day visit, and a parent tour during the school day.
In addition to completing the application form, you will be asked for the following in the portal:
Recommendations from two teachers and/or administrators who are familiar with your son in an academic setting are
required for students entering grades 3 through 8. You are able to send requests through the portal to have teachers and/or administrators submit recommendations.
In the portal, parents will see a convenient checklist to help
them keep track of all requirements.
Admission (with the exception of the 8th grade - see below) is done on a rolling basis. This means that applications will be evaluated once all requirements are completed and you will be notified of an admissions decision within a few weeks.
PLEASE NOTE: There are a VERY LIMITED number of places for 8th grade. The deadline for applications to the 8th grade is January 15th. ALL application requirements, including a Gael-for-a-Day visit must be completed by that time. Parents will be notified regarding admission to 8th grade by February 15th. Students who are not accepted at that time, may be placed on a wait list and offered a place if an opening becomes available.
