May 7 Spring Arts Night to Feature Student Artwork, Jazz & Rock Ensembles
Ring in spring with our annual Spring Arts Night on Tuesday, May 7, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Tully Gymnasium. This perennial performance will feature student artwork from our upperclassmen under the tutelage of Mr. Matthew Horton '01, as well as musical selections from our Chamber Music Club, Jazz and Rock Ensembles, all under the direction of Mr. John Raimondo. Admission is complimentary.
The Chamber Music Club will perform pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, while the Jazz Ensemble will switch gears quickly to "Lady Marmalade" and "So What," by Miles Davis, among other pieces. The Animals, The Beatles and the Marshall Tucker Band will be among the offerings from our Rock Ensemble.
And that's just what you'll hear. Before even entering the Tully, you'll be treated to student creations involving gesture drawing, pixel art, 3D cinematography shadow boxes and movie poster graphic design.
Again, admission is FREE for you to come and see.
