FREE Admission for May 11 Spring Arts Night

The weather is heating and the Verni is rocking out! That could only mean it's time for Iona Preparatory's annual Spring Arts Night on Friday, May 11. Featuring performances by the Jazz and Rock Ensembles and Chamber Music Group, as well as a gallery of student artwork, the show gets underway at 6:30 p.m. in the Tully Gymnasium and admission is FREE!

Musically, you will hear pieces from Coltrane and Thelonius Monk to the Stones and the Man in Black, and our Chamber Music Group will take you "In the Hall of the Mountain King." You'll also hear covers of Blink 182, Cream, Green Day and more.

All the while, you can stroll a symphony of student artwork that includes junior and senior projects such as Name Tags, Figure Drawing, Pop Culture Artwork, Grid Method Enlargement, Positive Versus Negative Space, 2D Design, Cinematography Art and Street Art.

And it's all free! So come on out and see just what's been happening inside the Verni.
