Dec. 20 Christmas Pageant, Winter Arts Night To Showcase Student Talent

Bryan Adams sang that "there's something about Christmas time," and while it can't "be Christmas everyday," for one evening at least the Lower and Upper Schools will transport you with a night of art, drama, performance and pageantry. Grades K-5 will perform in the annual Lower School Christmas Pageant at 7 p.m., featuring a nativity reenactment and performances by the bell choir and chorus. Meanwhile, the Upper School's Winter Arts Night will have gotten underway at 6:30 p.m. with performances by the Jazz and Rock Ensembles, Chamber Music, Prep Players and Forensics team.

At the Upper School, the Jazz Ensemble will be performing "Blue Train" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas Medley," while the Rock Ensemble will get things cooking with "Ring of Fire," "All The Small Things" and "Free Fallin." Chamber Music will be playing selections from J.S. Bach, La La Land, C.P.E Bach and Claude Debussy, while the Prep Players are doing everyone's favorite scenes from "A Christmas Story" and Forensics is cutting from "Shrek The Musical."

And don't forget the junior and senior artwork on display in the Student Lobby!
