UNDERSTANDING BOYS: An Evening with Troy Kemp, Sr.

Boys are disengaging and under-performing at an alarming rates across the country. Fortunately, this is not happening everywhere. Iona Preparatory's Lower Campus is pleased to present "Understanding Boys, the Art and Science of Inspiring Boys and Building Men" on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. at the Stratton Road campus.

Mr. Kemp is the Executive Director of the National Center for the Development of Boys, the mission of which is to improve the lives of boys by providing resources for parents, educators, mentors and organizations committed to helping boys develop into good and successful men. On Oct. 5, he will be reflecting on more than 25 years of experience in educating and raising boys to be confident, capable and caring men.

This presentation is for parents, educators and community leaders who would like improve the experience and outcomes for boys in their schools and community. Mr. Kemp will share the latest research and best practices that have proven to be effective in building the optimal skill sets and mindsets in boys.
