Jack Fay ’12 Helps Team Win First New England Title in 20 Years

Iona Prep alum, Jack Fay ’12, started off his college basketball career, at Suffield Academy Prep School, similar to the way he ended his high school basketball career at Iona Prep…winning.  Suffield Academy captured their first New England title in 20 years with a 72–68 victory over Canterbury School.  Led by a veteran squad, Suffield won 15 of their last 16 games, completing a 20–4 season which resulted in them being an unbeaten team in Class B competition. Jack ended up with 13 points and took two crucial charges, in the championship game, to help his team win their first New England Title in 20 years.

Jack has committed to continuing his basketball career at Division III  Brandeis University.  Brandeis Head Coach, Brian Meehan, is looking forward  in having Jack join the team due to his ability to stretch the floor with his  shooting, but also have the ability to be a playmaker with good court vision and  passing.
